Our Story

Mr. Mc’s Market started as a corner store and grew into the multi-department neighborhood spot it is today. We expanded into bait and tackle when fishermen kept asking. We added the smoke shop when that was what the neighborhood needed. We opened the Fat Boyz soul food kitchen because Wichita needed a place to get real Sunday dinner. Every department in this store exists because the community asked for it.

We’re locally owned, locally operated, and locally rooted. The money you spend at Mr. Mc’s stays in Wichita — paying our staff, supplying local growers and bait makers, and supporting the community programs we partner with.
